Growing up I was plagued with just about every skin related catastrophe you could imagine. Seriously I still wince every time I stumble across one of my high school photo’s.

To make a long story short throughout elementary school I had warts on top of warts over a good portion of my hands. Then in about 7th grade I finally got rid of the warts “Thank God” I thought to myself. Little did I know I had an even bigger challenge on the way… Pimples. If pimples were dollars I would have been a fricken millionaire. I could have skipped going broke, skipped mastering wholesaling. I’d be a pimple millionaire. That’s got a certain ring to it doesn’t it?

What do my skin issues have to do with making you money? Nothing really I just wanted to share that even guru’s get pimples… kidding ;-)

Okay, okay I promise I’ll tie this all together for you in a moment, but you gotta stick with me a second.

When I was growing up my Mom had 3 goals for me:

#1 She wanted me to be an avid reader. Unfortunately I graduated college and in all that time only read ONE BOOK. Kit Carson Pathfinder of the West. It wasn’t until my mid twenties that I started reading a book or two every week and it changed my life.

#2 She wanted me to wait to have sex until I was 18 and in love. Well, let’s just say I didn’t do to well in this category. I think I must have gotten “18 and in love” confused with “15 and horny”. I’m just being honest.

#3 She wanted me to have a high self esteem. Wow, did she do a good job with this one. In my humble opinion she knocked this one out of the ball park. Still today there’s a few folks that would tell you she did TOO GOOD at this one. Some people want you to give them a cookie for being great. I built my own cookie factory so I don’t need cookies from anyone… I’ve got plenty of my own.

I said all that to say this….

Nearly every kid I’ve known whose been through such skin monstrosities would have been an easy candidate for meeting my Mom’s second goal. Yep, in most kids lives pimples, warts and girls go together like food stamps, second hand clothes and a Rolls Royce. Just not happening.

Here’s How This Can Make You Money…

In the third grade I made a decision that still serves me today. I made a decision to ignore my weak points, disregard my deficiencies, and give a big “F’ You” to the downers in my life.

I basically made a decision that I was “The man”…

Any girl could be mine. Anything could be mine. The world would become my playground and nothing was going to change that.

Looking back I’ve gotta give myself a cookie.

Sorry to interrupt again, but can you see how wonderful this works? You may hate me, hate this, but because I make my own cookies I’ve always got them to give myself.

Anyway, the point of all this is what if today you decided…

Screw financial worries… Why not? Worrying has yet to pay a single one of my bills!

Screw the media hype… Why not? Put 10 dimes in a jar. Shake the jar. The money doesn’t leave the jar it just moves. Right now the money hasn’t up and left America it’s just moving to new hands. Why can’t those hands be yours.

Screw failure… Count of the number of times you’ve FAILED in the past 5 years. If you can’t count at least 50 then you’re doing something wrong and you need to get to work at failing more.

Screw fear... You’ve all heard the acronym “False Evidence Appearing Real” that’s B.S. Wanna know why fear really sucks? For most people fear is “F#ck Everything And Run”. It’s hard to do your best work when you running all the time.

It would be foolish for me to say “Now buy my stuff and start wholesaling if you want to do all this stuff”. Sure it would be correct. However it would be foolish because wholesaling is one of MANY options that you have if you’re looking to make a fast fortune.

That said. PLEASE I BEG you. Make the decision today to become the Author and Publisher of your own life story. Your circumstances don’t dictate your future, they are merely the results of your past thinking and your past decisions.

If you don’t like what you see in your life right now then isn’t it awesome to know you need only change your thinking and change your decisions. That’s it.

Yes it would be foolish to tell you wholesaling is your only way out because it’s not and it would be equally foolish to learn from anyone but me if you do decide to give wholesaling a try.

Warning there is a MASSIVE cookie truck here to drop a shipment off FOR ME. I hope you’ll trust me on this because I’ve bought my competitors products some of them were good if you were looking to spend $2,000 to learn ½ of what you’ll need to wholesale.

Others left me thinking “Wow I just spent $47 on a really poorly written work of fiction”…. Seriously if I want to read a fairytale I’ll buy a fricken Disney book.

Biggest Compliment…

I promise I’m going to try my best to keep this short, but I’ve just got to share one of my BIGGEST compliments I’ve received that came from someone who hadn’t even bought my product.

If you’ve seen my sales pages you know I’ve got loads of testimonials because there a MUST to cut through the clutter of “Guru hype” vs. Results. But this is one you’ll never see. It came when I was at one of my “Guru conferences”.

The comment came after a short conversation I had after being introduced to this Mr. X from an acquaintance. Mr X is another “Guru” who happens to be one of the largest wholesalers in his area (I can’t give the area or you’d know).

Anyway, I started sharing some of my secrets with him at the suggestion of our mutual acquaintance. At first he kind of looked at me “Puzzled”… it was like I dropped a “delayed timer mind bomb” on him. All of the sudden he grasped what I had just said and how much more money he could be making now that he knew just 1 of my secrets.

Anyway he looked at me shook his head and said…. Keep in mind this is a quote, I try not to talk like this but here’s what he said…

Don’t get me wrong, I chose wholesaling because I desperately needed to  generate fast cash. I take that back I didn’t choose wholesaling, wholesaling was my only option. However, as time has passed I’ve come to realize that there’s more to wholesaling than making a fast buck or two.

Some would say I’m only rationalizing to make myself feel better about making such easy money. However I’d politely like to disagree, because as I look back over the past 6 years I’ve helped a hell of a lot of people…

I’ve had sellers break down crying after finally getting their home sold… I even had one offer to lend me their aluminum fishing boat for the summer. Dont’ ask what happened with that.

Unfortunately much of the joy I’ve shared with my buyers (investors) has been over drinks at the local watering hole and for some strange reason I can’t seem to recall much beyond “Bartender get this guy another shot”…

Sure I’m thankful those pictures with “Sally the worlds hottest goat” and I never made it online. It likely would have spelled the end of me ;-) but I’m equally as thankful for having cranked up my KARMIC CASH.

I guess what I’m saying here is, if money isn’t enough to get you off your a$$ then perhaps you’ll do it for Karmic Cash…

If there’s one thing I really look forward to seeing you realize it’s how after the first $100,000 or so, money just becomes a scorecard that let’s you know how many people you’ve helped.

Landlord Lessons: Besides The Money… THIS Is Why I Wholesale.

I thought I might share some lessons and observations that I have made while being a landlord…

I swear on at least 2 of my Tenants graves… EVERYONE of these things really did happen…  and by the way, shame on you for thinking the only reason I stuck with wholesaling was I wanted easy money…This is the real reason ;-)

1. If someone gets shot in your house, regular carpet cleaner (Resolve) does not work to remove the nasty stuff that comes out when you get shot.  And, even crackheads will puke when they smell it.

2. Normal people do not want to live in a house where the neighbors have spray painted R.I.P James Smith on the side walk.  One of my houses did.

3. If a tenant calls and begins the conversation with “I have always liked you”, or ” I hope your having a blessed day” it really means “I do not intend on paying rent this month”

4. When a prospective tenant says “I live with my grandmother, or any other relative” they are actually saying “There is not a chance in Hell I’ve ever had a landlord that would recommend you let me move in”

5. If a tenant offers to paint a rental unit for their security deposit, and they say they are good painters. It really means that they are experts at painting tile, wood floors, and windows, but your walls may not turn out very good.  Do they make a 2000 sqft tarp?

6. When a tenant says that they “Don’t do drugs” they really mean “I don’t do certain drugs”. I ask “Do you do drugs?” they say to me “No I hate drugs”, they actually mean, “I hate crack, but weed and vicodin are staples in my life”

7. If your ceiling is torn down in one of your rental properties and the tenant tries to convince you that “It just Fell”, what they really mean is “There was a drug bust here, and we were growing weed in the cieling”… “there’s no way that’s coming out of my deposit” they say

8. Somehow the postal system is being very discriminate, only my tenants.  This is an actual quote “Eric, I know this is the third month in a row that my social security check has not shown up on time, but the postmaster said “He fixed it”.

9. Do not call a heating and cooling guy when a tenant calls and says “My furnace isnt working” because what they really mean is “I have the heat set at 90 and its 95 in here, so my furnace isnt coming on”.

10. This is just a suspicion, but I think tenants are in cahoots with the gas companies, because I have walked into units where the landlord is paying the heat and I swear you could cook an egg on top of their big screen TV, and they have all the windows open in the middle of winter. When asked why the windows were open, and the furnace was on and they replied “The heats Free”.   Almost as if the gas company gives them a dollar for every dollar they waste on gas.

11. A house, is just not a house, until it has what I call the “Ghetto stamp of approval”, this is when I install new carpet and within 30 minutes of moving in, the tenant has burned the outline of the iron into the carpet in at least 6 spots. What are they doing ironing anyway?   Unless they need to wear a suit and tie to the Department of human services.  It sounds cruel but out of 30 units not even ONE had a regular job.

12. I have found this very interesting, I live in a nice neighborhood with very nice homes, and many of my neighbors work 60+ hrs a week, and they have yards that look like the ninth whole at a golf course, and they maintain it themselves.  Many of my tenants on the other hand, work 2 hours a week depending on the length of unemployment line,  so one might deduce that their yard would be drop dead gorgeous, because they have so much time to work in it.   This is not the case however, I can see missing a Twinky wrapper when you get out of your car, but how in the heck do you accidentally leave a couch in the front yard.

13. It is possible to mow a lawn, with a push mower in one had and a 40 oz of Colt 45 in the other. I was extremely pleased to discover this because I have been mowing my lawn for years and was always stuck wearing a beer helmet.

These are the reasons I teach Real Estate Wholesaling… and NOT land lording.

Maybe it’s just me, but  it seems like quick cash, with zero risk and no hassles.

Has so much more appeal than LOSING cash, SPENDING Cash, LOSING your a$$,  all for Endless hassle…

But like I said, maybe the easy routes just what I prefer.

Who’s Watching Out From Heaven

A chill rolled down my spine this weekend when I went to check the weather and saw this story about an accident only a mile or so from my home.   I can’t help but think God played a role in this one.

I was stunned to see all 3 adults could die in a crash while an 8 month old made it out alive… Until I noticed her name.

CALEDONIA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) – Three adults were killed and a baby critically injured Friday afternoon in an accident on 84th St. in Caledonia Township.

A Honda Accord was pulling out of Woodland Forest Private Dr. onto 84th St. when it was broadsided by a Ford Expedition around 2:45 p.m.

Witnesses said the Expedition burst into flames.

Aaron Pell, 18, and Jerry Pell,13, were able to get themselves out of the Expedition. Both suffered non-life threatening injuries.

A passerby was able to tow the Accord away from the Expedition to keep it from catching on fire.

Robert Schimming, 71, Shirliann Schimming, 71, and Sindi King, 53 were in the Accord and died at the scene. Neveah Spicer, 8-months-old, was also in the Accord. She was airlifted from the scene and is in critical condition.

Neighbors of Sindi King told 24 Hour News 8 her parents, Robert and Shirliann, were visiting Michigan from Lehi, Utah. They had come to see Sindi’s granddaugther, Neveah, for the first time. Neither of Neveah’s parents were involved in the crash.

What kind of “guru” would be foolish enough to PAY you to buy his product… Then Promises You’ll Be Happy He Did..

  • Certainly not the everyday schmo whose trying to pass on their ‘Regurgitated Information” as some brand new “Investing insight”.
  • Definitely not one of those flash in the pan, INVENTED on the internet just yesterday guru’s who seem to pop up out of no where at least once a week.

WARNING:  At the risk of sounding kind of cocky I’m gonna tell you who what kind of guru would pay you to get his stuff … Because there’s only 1 kind I know of who would do something so ‘Foolish’

A NON-’guru’ who recognizes that in an industry plagued with lies, false promises and corruption there’s only one way to separate himself from the rest…

by flat out paying you to get his product and  point him towards ANY investing system, at ANY price (yeah even those $20,000 super systems) , ANYWHERE on U.S. SOIL that even comes close to providing the level of “learn it today use it tomorrow strategies” that his course brings.

Yep I’m Eric Medemar and that foolish ‘guru’ is me…  Just so we’re clear though, I’M NOT A GURU.

Please don’t let this secret go beyond this blog because there’s a over 1322 other people who’ve bought my stuff and they really think I’m a smart dude (guru)…
